    Hibernating

I feel like a grizzly bear hibernating waiting for things to pick up again. Work is slow. I’m slow at posting to the blog. Everything is slow. At the wedding studio, we have things to work on but it’s a lot of waiting for clients to get back to us. For my own second shooting, I have been meeting with photographers but now is the time when schedules and summers are being planned so things come in slowly. Goodbye Cancun

All good things must come to an end. Current whereabouts: sitting in the Starbucks airport pre-security. Sweating. There are lots of people and lots of humidity. I am sad to be leaving but also ready to go home. I always enjoy vacation but I never feel quite as comfortable as I am when I am home. I have adjusted pretty quickly however and I am embracing sweating. The vacation thus far has consisted of swimming, tanning, drinking, sleeping, and eating. It is such a wonderful feeling to be out in the sun for half the day and then come back to the hotel room and take a long…

    Thoughts While Flying

8:54PM. Current whereabouts: on an airplane sitting in the middle seat of the 27th row on my way to Cancun. It’s such a cliché to be going to Cancun for Spring Break but why not have the life experience. Today has been a fairly easy travel day relative to what it could have been. When we booked the flights I was too scared to even think about the possibility of snow and cancellations but thankfully we have not run into any problems. The most stressful part of the day was making our transfer in Chicago. Yes…Chicago. Instead of being efficient and having a layover in Texas or Florida, we flew west…
